New Life

Finally things started happening.
I'm just in the  room, playing LBP2. Sudently, mom opens the door, and says:" You've got an interview with a music teatcher in 2 hours." Obvious awnser: "WHAAAAT?" I've always said "I am a 'right now' man" but i was kinda choked knowing that I would have to talk with this musician guy about music lessons so early.

The guy was so COOL. He was "Saboya Jr." He 's a guy with 2 meters, long gray hair, glasses, facial hair, a little "hip" style. he has 20 years of training in music, and knows how to play guitar, bass, piano, drums and eletric guitar. He's a cool guy, he is understanding, nice, funny, and has a very good teaching method.  It's cool, because he is all like, "i know the exercises are boring, so, we can stop the training a little bit to try to play a music you like, what kind of music do you like? Rock? Hard Rock?"

Birthday!

Day 26 it was my birthday. we went to the center of  Rio, buy mah BASS. there were like 15 music stores, there. the first 2 were pretty big, but didn't have, a SINGLE bass for lefties. the 3rd one had 1 model. An super awsome model. A red wood style. SUPER COOL BASS OF DOOM. Yeah, I'm kinda~ happy.

After that, we went to a restaurant. smelled like bathroom, but the food was good. My birthday cake was 2 peices of cake, one lemon cake, and one chocolate cake. The candles were 2 lighters. But it was great to be with the family.

Today...

Rodrigo kind of envied my joy. Who wouldn't? Poor guy, he plays guitar, but eants to play eletric guitar. Saboya is teaching him to play eletric guitar, instead of the classy one, but he doesn't have one. wait... He Does.
Today we went to the shoping with Saboya, Rodrigo wanted to buy the eletric guitar, and Saboya was going to buy a new one for his son, so we went with him.
The guys in the store were Saboya's friends, and they were cool guys. Rodrigo bought his guitar, and Saboya bought an awsome japanese super guitar,

So, here we are. New instruments, Rockin on.

Got a HOME at last! ( this time for real.)

Finnaly, we're living in our home. (We are doing it for like 3/4 days, i was just too lazy to post.) We already got half of the furniture, including my desk, that's a *little* tinier than we thought, but it's still awesome. The ambient here is great, except for the mornings that instead of birds singing, have kids shouting. Yeah, maybe the house was cheap because of the elementary school at our front... The beach, yeah, the beach is cool. Kinda cold in the mornings, but nothing that we weren't used too.
Our "Fun Room" is great. We have a big screen, we've got a window, and the room itself is pretty big.
It's hot in here, "and it's not because of me. B)" Anyway, the pool doesn't get any sunlight, but we don't need it, because it's already too hot.
Oh yes... what about our super big balcony. We can play football in there. Actually, I think techanicaly talking, the balcony is as big as half of our house, because it goes from the living room to the other side of the apartment.

Oh yes. something arrived. My MakeyMakey! The most awesome invention in history. If your not familiar with it, just see. www.makeymakey.com
Just to show the power of the MakeyMakey, the next sentence, with be writen with, er.. I know! this scissor. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Tadam!

And, for the last topic of my post, my birthday. Well, my birthday is gonna be 26 October, but even withtout friends, with will be cool. We've got some fun things planed, like getting my bass. Wohoo!
There's just a little problem. This awesome schools got this amazing idea of the "bolsão". Wich is pratically a reasoning test you do to see how much discount you get on the school. We are going to do one in the morning, in 27 October. I will not have a very relaxed day thinking in the test in the day after...

Good. I ended the post. now I can go back playing.

Brazil x Portugal

Alright. Just a little question. WTF the world think of us? I mean, on the net, I found out brazilians love everyone besides americans and argentinos. But the rest of the world is very weird, Some hate us, say that we are rude, others love us, love the culture, and the friendly people... I just... Forget it.

About the Brazilians: on blogs, I found out they are more concerned about what we think about them. There were things saying that we thought brazilian women only come to Portugal to pratice prostitution. That's no longer true! TO BRAZILIANS: Portuguese think you are awesome people that are always happy, and very chilaxed. The Portuguese people like Brazilian people, ok? Besides, Who doesn`t? Brazilan are shure proud of their country, but in a place like this, who can blame them?

Got a house at last!

Still can't live on it, we don't have the furniture yet, -_-... But still pretty cool. Me and my brother were discussing about our desks, and where they were going to be, sizes, prices, (that rimed :D) Well anyway, The problem is, I really would like to have things to tell, but we're stuck in the same tiny apartment, with traffic spanking our ears. Sometimes, just to let a bit of the anger out, i just go look at them on the window, and comment "WHY THE **** DID THAT ONE HONKED?! HE DIDN'T HAD TO! IS IT JUST TO IRRITATE PEOPLE?? I HATE YOU, BURN IN HELL. and things like that. At least back in our future home, there is almost no cars on the street.

I'm really looking forward to our new life. I will actually share my scenarios.

WORST CASE SCENARIO: (I like to start with the bad.) Stuck at home, nothing to do. the area around is boring, and it's getting very hot. In the beach the water is always cold. We are having financial problems, and
we can't pay all the furniture so soon. Dad is always away from home, because of work. People here are all dicks, and hate foreign people. In school, nobody likes me, and I'm having problems with the methods...
Deep Depression.

BAD CASE SCENARIO: Stuck at home, sometimes go to the beach. The area around is not good, but not bad either. We're having problems thinking in how are we gonna do things financialy. Dad's project will still take some months until he can work at home. I've got a few friends, they are somewhat douches, but cool.
People here are just like back there. Kinda SWAG. In school I'm having problems with the methods, but I supose I'm evolving.
Sad.

MEDIUM CASE SCENARIO: Still having fun exploring the envolving. It's getting hot, because of the summer. I like going to the beach, the sea is calm. We're managing our money with care, and cut the not needed out. Dad's working project it's gonna end at christmas. People here are cool, they are nice people.
I've got some geeky friends with similar interests, and some are also artists. At school, i'm getting used to the new stuff, but it's not that hard.
Getting Used.

GOOD CASE SCENARIO: I like this place. It's calm, and not that hot. The beach is awsome, and we like to go there. We are working in order to get a good monthly budget. Dad's working project is gonna end in November, So he is going to work at home soon. I've met some people, and they think I'm interesting, and like my art. I've actually maneged to have a girlfriend, and she's really cool. At school, It's actually easier to understand things. It seems private schools really make the diference.

BEST CASE SCENARIO: Woohoo! This is the best place ever. It's calm, cool, and everyone is awsome, kind, smart, chillaxed.... Dad got a promotion and now we've got the double of the money, wich means I can have the best bass on the store. We've been having fun exploring the area in our new bikes.
I have got some new, all cool awsome friends. They're all cool, nice, smart and awsome people. We've formed a band, and we usually play at the vocalist's dad's bar. The Drummer is a shy, hot, smart, Asian girl, wich i'm dating now. We have much in common. At school, I'm taking a Multimedia course, and I'm good at it. My Emigration Experience blog has made lots of sucess and lots of emigrants are sharing their experiences
on it. (that's up to you)

The first times...

"I hate this!" It's of course the idea of the first times... Of course we know it's gets better, but it's the same thing as starting a new RPG character: Maybe the new one will end up better, but it's boring to start from the begining again.
At least we are already close to buy the house, we just need to sign the assigment. Well, still boring though, we will need to buy, and mount the furniture.
Cool part; to re-desing your room. Too bad we are going to have a sleeping room, and a fun room, shared by we three, our parents couldn't afford a T4. Still cool, though.
I really miss having my bass and my bike, good thing my parents are gonna give me new ones :P Just if they sell our old garage, so I just hope they do.

I also miss my little place, where I do my drawings and animations. I just can't do it very confortabily in a tiny dining table, the only table our grandparents have. But I still create cool things in Little Big Planet 2, love that game.

So, that's it, just hope this ends soon.

P.S: Thinking of ways of getting by blog popular... if your seeing this, or your a guy lost on the net, or a guy that's seeing old posts of the blog, coming from the future where my blog is popular.

Hello World!

Hello bloggers! This is the site I (you can call me "Gui") will use in order to share my emigration experience with the world. I really needed to share what I'm passing through, and see what the you guys think of it. I am a portuguese 14 year old guy that emigrated 2 weeks ago to Brazil. It's kinda weird, and I think it's like a thermal shock, you are sudently very cold, but you're body gets used to it and you feel normal again. I mean, it's a big change.

first impression

"Oh my god! We have the possibility to go to Brazil?! Dad couldn't had a better job offer than to go to Brazil. Dad, accept it!" Oh dear god... i remember that. We were crazy when we knew we could go to Brazil. I mean, who wouldn't? A tropical country that speaks your language (portuguese) is economicaly growing and has hot girls? Well, that sure is just the first impression, because your mind changes quickly.
In the last week you're already crying in front of everything you will leave behind. I lost my best friends, now they are just skype accounts that are rarely online.

Leaving...

"Am I dead?" Sudently, a flashback of your life with an epic music runs through yor mind. "What have I done?" It's like reincarnating! you travel through a plane and in 10 hours you and your family are starting a new life. At first, you "wow" a bit. Then you reach your home and start picturing your new life.
In my case, I reached a bigger, louder, and scarier city than where I lived. I lived in a little town near the beach, can you imagine how it is to get used to a giant city like Rio?! Well, it seems our minimalist interests lead us to the tinier, simplier place in Rio, an area in the middle of the nothing, with small buildings, and near the beach. Recreio dos Bandeirantes.

"Human Interaction"

"OH COOL!" How funny, eh? One of my old childhood friends happens to be in the same case. Her dad got job in Brazil, and emigrated an year ago. After one week without no one to interact, she apears. her birthday was one week ago, and she invited us. She is 13 now, and i am almost 15. She is still a little fat and irritanting like she always was, but she has lots of friends, that got interested in a particular older foreing boy. Me. Oooohh yeah. It was cool, and there were one or two that kinda had a crush on me, and then they invited me to a party yesterday. But it wasn't very cool.

Sorry for the long post, but i really needed to say lotsa things.

I will probably continue to update. maybe, 2/3 times a week?
